A Shared Ceramics Studio Born from an Alumni Whip-Round

Buying a ceramic kiln alone was too expensive for one person. So a few BWKS Kriya alumni did the most sensible thing: they chipped in together.

They rented a small space, bought a second-hand kiln, and opened a shared studio. Now the space is used in rotation, even opened for short classes for local residents.

From a simple whip-round came a place of making that lives almost every day.
