Dr. Anindya '03 and the Clinics Reaching Deep into South Malang
Ten years ago Dr. Anindya '03 came home to South Malang with one simple conviction: basic healthcare should not stop at the city's edge. She started from a small practice room in Donomulyo.
Today her network spans three village clinics, a community ambulance, and a team of travelling nurses, many of them younger Bhawikarsu alumni she invited home.
"We don't wait for patients to come to us," she says. "We go out to the posyandu, the schools, the fields."
