Bringing the Dentist's Chair to Remote Primary Schools
For many children on the slopes of Arjuno, a trip to the dentist is something foreign. A group of Nakes alumni decided to flip the script: if children struggle to reach a clinic, the clinic comes to school.
With portable equipment and weekend schedules, they examine hundreds of pupils, fill cavities, and most importantly teach proper brushing.
The programme runs on their own pockets and small alumni donations, with little fanfare.
