Bamboo Weaving That Brought the Village Hall Back to Life

Bamboo grows abundantly around the village but is rarely turned into anything of value. A UMKM alumni saw an opportunity there.

She gathered the women at the village hall, teaching them to weave neat baskets, trays, and decorative containers. Awkward at first, their hands grew nimbler with time.

Those woven goods are now consigned to souvenir shops, adding income while reviving a village hall that had gone quiet.
