A Home-Built Climbing Wall Born from an Alumni Whip-Round

Getting to a real cliff takes time and money. So a few BWKS Sport alumni chose to build their own climbing wall on an empty plot owned by one of them.

Hold by hold, they fitted it together, using whatever materials they had while keeping it safe. Now the wall is a regular training spot, even open to curious beginners.

Through trial and error, they found that building it together was as much fun as climbing it.
