The Alumni Keroncong Ensemble Keeping Old Songs Alive

The sound of the keroncong's cuk and cak feels foreign to many young ears. Precisely for that reason, a group of BWKS Musik alumni felt called to preserve it.

They formed a small keroncong ensemble, playing at cultural events and reunions, reviving songs almost forgotten.

For them, keroncong is not old-fashioned music but a heritage waiting for new ears to fall in love.
